Welcome to the Trails End Motel. We have 10 rooms that include air conditioning, cable TV, a microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator.
We are the closest motel to the trailhead, which leads directly to hundreds of miles of designated, groomed and marked trails, owned by the State of Michigan and the Department of Natural Resources. Off road enthusiasts frequent our motel for the excellent trail system, whether on snowmobiles in the winter; or quads, dirt bikes and dunebuggies in the summer months. Our close proximity to all sports, 563 acre, Lake St. Helen, also attracts boaters from all over the state. Lake St. Helen provides fishermen with crystal clear waters, fed by artesian wells, along with unspoiled coastline views. Within the 18 miles of shoreline, only 3 miles are developed, with the remaining percentage owned by the Duck Club of Michigan. With hundreds of acres of stateland so close, hunters flock to our area during prime hunting seasons. We are close to downtown and within walking distance to all the usual convenient services.
